I am constantly surprised by how I am still easily impressed by technology and have such a ludicrously polly annaish view of it.
So it’s giving me a bit of a schoolboy thrill to make this post via the iPhone Wordpess application. And that i just downloaded it via 3g on nuneaton station platform. And posting this from a cab. It’s quite nice being so easily amused, you spend a lot of time with a big grin on your face. That is all

How are you finding the 3g iphone compared to the first generation. Clearly 3g is an advantage but I am reading more reports of cluggins stuttering apps etc and that the “experience” is not as good as on the first gen?

@Rob: there’s an issue with the shipped 3G iphones having a slightly old version of the 2.0 firmware that does have some sluggishness problems. Unfortunately iTunes doesn’t seem to recognise that the latest firmware it has is newer and nippier. Luckily you can force a manual upgrade and once you’ve done that it’s great.
